10 Reasons To Use Facebook As Principal Social Media

There are many Social Media platforms available to choose, and each one has its strengths and weakness. In my case, I prefer Facebook for many reasons.

Here Are My Top 10 Reasons

✔️Over 2.32 billion monthly active users (MAU) as of December 31, 2018. You have access to reach all these potential customers.

✔️ 2.5 billion people used at least one of its apps: Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or Messenger. Two and a half billion people compare to 2.23 billion monthly users on Facebook, 1 billion users on Instagram, 1.5 billion users on WhatsApp and 1.3 billion users on Messenger.

✔️ 1.47 billion people log in daily. People are looking for new content every day, creating new opportunities.

✔️ 88% of users are accessing via a mobile device. They have access at the palm of their hands.

✔️ 200 million people are members of meaningful Facebook Groups. They can help reach potential customers, creating engagement and position yourself a leader in your field.

5 More Reasons

✔️ Low cost compared to YouTube. Currently, Facebook.com is the third website page worldwide, behind Google (first place) and YouTube (second place). Therefore considering enter the video space seems promising, but you need to think about the expenses on creating a professional video.

In other words, you have to spend on a camera, lighting, sound equipment, software and that is just starting. You can do it on a mobile, but remember you need to have a professional look to your videos, if not they could hurt your brand. Also, use video, especially Live. In other words, you can use YouTube as you start to gain some revenue and make some investments.

✔️ Insights can give you an overall view of your market. Facebook Page Insights provide the information you need about your demographics, and in most cases could surprise you. Maybe you were expecting the biggest age group that follows you is from 18-24, and it’s incorrect. Knowing these details can help you make improvements to your marketing strategy.

✔️ Strategic ad campaign. Not so many years ago, Marketing Agencies would go to their local radio station and place an ad about an event, hoping people would listen to the promotion and go.

With Facebook Ads, you are able to create an ad specificity to your market. After it has run its course, you have real results about who saw the ad and its level of engagement. Also, it is less expensive than traditional publicity, being another attractive.

✔️ Check out your competition. Since more business is using Facebook and keeping an eye on what your competition is doing is a great way to stay on your toes.

If you want to look deeper at them, go to Insights and then Overview. Then look on the bottom look for Pages To Watch, allowing you to check similar pages 😉.

✔️ Create engaging posts. Facebook loves content, especially if it is original. In other words, create content to your page and try use links. The reason is since you are taking people outside of Facebook, it does not like it that much.

Ultimately, I compare Facebook Page to a bank. For instance, you can make deposits by using original content to the page. Then once in a while make a withdrawal by sharing an external link. Keep a 4 to 1 ratio and should not be penalized.
